General Mills Commits to Reducing Absolute Greenhouse Gas Emissions

The company also has signed on to a global movement of leading companies aligning their businesses with the Paris Agreement.

General Mills has pledged to reduce its absolute greenhouse gas emissions—from farm to fork to landfill—by 30% over the next 10 years. In addition, the company has committed to achieve net zero emission levels by 2050 and advance regenerative agriculture across its sourcing footprint on 1 million acres by 2030.

General Mills also has signed on to the Business Ambition for 1.5oC to limit global temperature rise to 1.5oC above pre-industrial levels and reach net zero by 2050.
