No More Broken Bearings

AMI Bearings rolled out new sizes for its stainless steel Accu-loc Collar during PACK EXPO East in Philadelphia. The mounted ball bearing units have electro-less nickel bearing outer and inner ring and include a washdown version with concentric locking that is pre-lubricated with NSF H1 rated food grade grease and is easy to install with a single cap screw.

According to the company, Accu-loc solves the key problem of customers over tightening the bearings and cracking the inner rings. The special tapered clamp collar design provides a uniform grip of the bearing inner race to the shaft. And the Kanigen Accu-loc Bearing Insert minimizes shaft vibration at higher speeds while providing corrosion protection in wet environment conditions. 

Accu-loc is available with most normal duty housing styles and popular inch bore sizes. New inch bore sizes include 1-11/16 inch, 1-15/16 inch, 2 inch, and 1-7/16 inch. It can be used with conveyors, mixers, and any kind of package machinery.
