MFG Day is Friday, Oct. 6 but you can plan your company's event for any day throughout the month of October. Events can include factory tours, job fairs and other community engagement opportunities. Invite students, parents, educators and others to your facility to learn more about advanced manufacturing opportunities. The MFG Day website allows you to make the most out of your company festivities. Registering your event grants you access to free resources and toolkits; your event will appear on the Manufacturing Day Interactive Map.
Manufacturing Day, established in 2012 by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), was created to promote manufacturing and inspire a new generation of industry professionals. The goal is to address common misconceptions surrounding careers in manufacturing by giving companies the opportunity to open their doors to showcase what manufacturing is — and what it is not.
