McCain Foods has announced its commitment to creating a more sustainable approach to potato farming. As a major part of this commitment, commercial farms will be built in three different countries around the world, with three different climates, to showcase how regenerative farming practices and the latest agricultural technology and innovations can be implemented at scale. McCain will partner with leading academics and suppliers to demonstrate which sustainable practices can create a more financially viable future for farming, while at the same time increasing food production. The first “Farm of the Future” will be developed in New Brunswick, Canada.
