CERM is proud to announce a new partner integration with IBIS Bindery Systems, a global expert in digital print bindery and finishing solutions. This latest collaboration marks another step forward in CERM’s ongoing mission to deliver fully integrated, automated workflows for the label and packaging industry.
The CERM–IBIS Bindery Systems integration enables direct, real-time communication between IBIS bindery finishing equipment and CERM MIS Software, creating greater transparency and control over finishing operations.
Direct, real-time data exchange between IBIS and CERM MIS
Through this integration, IBIS bindery systems automatically transfer production data directly to CERM MIS. Machines continuously report which CERM job is running, along with material usage and production status, without the need for manual input.
By using JMF (Job Messaging Format), machine activities such as Running, Breakdown, and Job Complete are automatically registered and sent to CERM’s Shop Floor Data Collection module. This ensures accurate, real-time production tracking while reducing errors and administrative workload.
Live production insights and optimized finishing processes
With reliable, real-time data from IBIS finishing equipment, converters gain immediate insight into actual production performance and true finishing costs. This allows them to optimize finishing workflows, improve efficiency, and make better-informed operational decisions—based entirely on trustworthy data.
“This integration demonstrates how partner collaborations create transparent, end-to-end production workflows,” said Sebastiaan Hermans, Marketing Manager at CERM. “By connecting advanced finishing technology directly to a central MIS, we enable smarter production control, improved cost visibility, and higher levels of automation.”
Partner integrations at the core of workflow automation
Partner integrations are a fundamental part of CERM’s strategy for workflow automation and business efficiency. Seamless interaction between different operating systems within a central MIS environment creates new opportunities for optimization across the entire production process.
With the addition of IBIS Bindery Systems to its growing partner ecosystem, CERM continues to strengthen its commitment to building smart, future-ready workflows for the label and packaging industry.
