Ross SysCon touchscreen purged panels meet the Underwriters Laboratories’ UL-508A Code for non-hazardous control panels as well as the UL-698A Code, which covers industrial control panels designed for hazardous locations, including the use of intrinsically safe barriers. They also comply with the National Fire Protection Association’s NFPA-496 Code that relates to purged and pressurized enclosures. Suitable for most hazardous locations, the purge panel enclosures can be constructed from NEMA 4 carbon steel or NEMA 4x stainless steel.
