Magnetic Sensor Systems (MSS) has released the S-29-200-H Series of Push Type Tubular Solenoids. These high force 2.0 in. diameter Push Type Tubular Solenoids feature 18 standard off-the-shelf options to select from based on the Voltage, Duty Cycle, Force of up to 28 lb. (128 N) and Stroke requirement of the user. They have a 2.85 in. long housing plunger or actuator on the push end has a diameter of 0.156 +/.003 in. and a stroke of 1.75 in. A low friction brass guide and the PTFE coated plunger contribute to the exceptionally long life of these compact powerful solenoids.
MSS Solenoid coils typically utilize Class “F” 23 to 40 AWG (American Wire Gauge) windings with Class “A” insulated lead wires for better protection of the solenoid during longer duty cycles.
Having a peak force of 28 lbs., these “Made in America,” clean, high efficiency, low cost, precise tubular solenoids can be operated at 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, and continuous duty cycles (voltage dependent). Featuring high reliability, they are ideal for applications such as: Sorting, switch activation, grippers, ejectors, door and safe locks, valve control, and device interlocks, in automation, robotics, medical equipment and devices, farm machinery, toys, and fire suppression systems.
Easy alignment and installation in new and existing applications is via a 7/16-14 UNC-2A threaded stud and nut.
