FIAMA has expanded their line of flexible shafts used to transmit rotary motion between devices where the use of a solid shaft is impractical, such as transmitting motion around obstacles or misaligned devices. Additional benefits are vibration dampening and smooth, accurate mechanical transmission, according to FIAMA.
The new line of flexible shafts include sheath or reinforced steel coverings, ball bearing terminations, and multiple termination options. Custom manufactured shafts to customer design criteria are also available.
FIAMA is imported to North America exclusively by Automation Continuum Inc.
