PharmaPhixx, a U.S.-based company specializing in nationwide pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment support and optimization, announced the addition of custom change-parts manufacturing to its capabilities, giving manufacturers a U.S.-based option for sourcing specialized equipment components with faster turnaround and no international customs delays.
PharmaPhixx will showcase this new capability at PACK EXPO International 2026, where the company will exhibit for the first time at Booth W-17078.
The new capability addresses a common challenge for pharmaceutical manufacturers: a relatively small or specialized component can become a significant constraint when replacement parts have long lead times, are no longer supported by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), or must be sourced internationally.
PharmaPhixx manufactures custom parts in the United States through its in-house engineering team in New York and Connecticut, with additional domestic manufacturing resources available once designs have been created and tested. Typical lead times range from two to eight weeks, depending on part complexity.
“PharmaPhixx was built around a simple idea: pharmaceutical manufacturers shouldn’t have to wait months to solve a problem,” said Dr. Andrea Wagner, CEO and Co-Founder of PharmaPhixx. “By manufacturing custom change-parts here in the U.S., we eliminate customs delays and give our clients another option when an OEM part has a long lead time, is obsolete, or simply doesn’t meet the needs of their process. It’s another way we can help manufacturers keep their equipment and their production moving forward.”
PharmaPhixx can manufacture components for a range of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including vial washers, depyrogenation ovens, autoclaves, lyophilizers, fillers, WFI systems, and plant steam boilers. Capabilities range from vial handling and conveying components, filler needles and arms, stopper feed tracks, vial trays and racks, and utility supply adapters to custom piping and equipment modifications.
Parts can be fabricated in 316L stainless steel, Delrin, and PEEK and are custom manufactured to specification. Clients can provide existing specifications and CAD drawings, or PharmaPhixx engineers can create drawings when they are not available. Each order includes an engineering review to ensure the component is appropriate for the intended equipment and application.
PACK EXPO attendees experiencing long OEM lead times, difficulty sourcing obsolete components, or equipment challenges that require a custom solution are encouraged to visit PharmaPhixx at Booth W-17078. Attendees can meet with the PharmaPhixx team to discuss specific parts, equipment challenges, and opportunities to reduce downtime or extend the life of existing equipment.
In addition to custom change-parts, visitors can learn how PharmaPhixx supports pharmaceutical manufacturers with troubleshooting, maintenance, controls and automation, equipment optimization, and project-based or ongoing technical support through its nationwide network of experts.
The addition of custom change-parts manufacturing expands PharmaPhixx’s ability to support pharmaceutical manufacturers throughout the equipment lifecycle, complementing its existing engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, automation, and technical support services.
