NTN—a provider of bearings, lubricants, and agricultural products—releases its Sentinel Series, which is a product line created based on the company’s gained understanding of the Food and Beverage industry and the demanding applications within it.

NTN’s Sentinel Series is a line of corrosion-resistant products developed for harsh caustic condition and food safety. Available in a range of products that include stainless DGBB, bearing inserts, and mounted units available in numerous combinations of housings, protective covers, grease and sealing options, Sentinel Series is made to provide a family of Food and Beverage market systems to improve overall equipment effectiveness, increase production, and provide value.

The Sentinel Series is available in inch and metric bore sizes from ½" up to 2-7/16" (12mm to 60mm). Bearing inserts are designed with an AISI 302 stainless riveted cage which is meant to help avoid hydrolysis from cleaning agents and allow NTN to offer either a premium H1 grease or proprietary H1 solid lubricant. Mounted unit housings are available in either reinforced PBT thermoplastic or 304 stainless steel. All Sentinel housings are designed with solid bases, smooth cavity free surface finish, and grooved for open or closed covers.
