With the purchase of an optional software license, Extended safety functions software for a single positioning function (EPos) are available with the purchase of an optional license.
Comprehensive communications interfaces provided on the CU250S-2 include Profibus DP, Profinet (Ethernet I/P), RS485 (USS protocol, Modbus RTU) ,and CANopen. No external gateway is needed. Other features include an integrated USB port, and an integrated slot for an SD card to allow simple cloning and firmware updates or upgrades.
