The project planning has been in the works for years as Kevin Mauger, president, NCCAS, says the Pennsylvania-based company always knew they eventually would need the extra space.
“The additional space will be used for system assembly allowing us to do even more pre-testing of systems prior to shipment, contributing to our record time installations and startups” Mauger says. “We are also changing the flow of the entire manufacturing, assembly and work in progress areas in order to become more lean and efficient.”
The project, predicted to be completed by January 2016, will allow NCCAS to accommodate the growing need and demand from its customers, which include PepsiCo, Unilever, General Mills, Starbucks, Proctor & Gamble and The Hershey Company.
