Nordson Corporation has created starter kits to help users integrate their ProBlue and ProBlue Liberty melters into a parent machine. The all-inclusive kits can reduce PLC programming time from over 50 hours to less than one, according to the company, and are available as a free download for all Nordson customers.
Nordson’s starter kits include a quick start guide with a demonstration video for step-by-step guidance through the integration process, example HMI and PLC code for customization, intuitive tags for all available melter data, and other system-specific needs. Kits are currently available for Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems.
