The R-10-200-CCWM Series of Counter Clockwise, Forward Shaft Extension Rotary Solenoids from Magnetic Sensor Systems (MSS), available in OEM quantities, features 18 different winding configurations allowing the user to match torque and duty cycle requirements to an application. These high torque, compact 2.00 in. (50.8 mm) diameter by 1.04 in (26.42 mm) long rotary solenoids have a forward shaft extension of 0.92 in. (23.37 mm) and an overall length of 2.34 in. (59.44 mm). The 0.2356 +/- .0005 in. (5.984 +/- 0.0127 mm) diameter shaft has 40 degrees of counter clockwise rotation and the shaft end is serrated for a better grip of the attached load. Two M4X0.7 threaded studs (8-32 studs optional) 0.34 in. (8.64 mm) long on a 1.062 in. (26.98 mm) bolt circle enables easy integration to new and existing applications.
The R-10-200 CCWM Series of Rotary Solenoids can be specified with a choice of AWG winding of 20 to 37 gauge. Specifying a different AWG for the windings allows the user to control the performance of a solenoid with respect to duty cycle, current supplied, and torque by controlling the ampere turns. As an example: Starting torque of a solenoid at 11 w, at 100% duty cycle and 40 degrees rotation, is 10 oz-in. (0.07 Nm) and starting torque of a solenoid at 110 w, 10% duty cycleand 40 degrees rotation is 48 oz-in. (0.34 Nm). When voltage is removed, a built-in return spring returns the shaft to the home position. The shaft is supported by two high precision radial ball bearings with no axial movement.
Low cost, the R-10-200-CCWM Series of Rotary Solenoids feature long life, clean and quiet operationare ideal for: Office machines, security mechanisms (interlocks), medical devices, assembly, sorting, clamping, packaging, shutter actuation, vending, and games. Please consult our Sales Team if another size, higher forces, direction of rotation, or mounting configuration is required.
MSS high speed rotary solenoids provide a true limited angle rotary motion. Unlike conventional rotary solenoids that convert a linear stroke into a rotary motion, MSS rotary solenoids operate without any linear movement in the shaft. These solenoids feature a shaft supported by two precision ball bearings, ensuring low-impact operation as a result of elimination of linear shaft motion. This combined with built-in shock absorbing limit stops enhances durability, making them ideal for applications that require long service life.
