Duravant acquires ARPAC

Duravant increases product and service offerings in North America with Arpac acquisition and looks to further develop growing SupportPro footprint.

Duravant, an engineered equipment manufacturer serving the food processing, packaging, and material handling sectors, acquired ARPAC, Schiller Park, Ill., a designer, manufacturer, and integrator of complete end-of-line packaging solutions. The purchase improves Duravant’s packaging platform and the company’s systems integration and direct service capabilities.

ARPAC has been a leader in secondary packaging machinery for more than 45 years with experience in designing and building integrated production lines. The copany has recently experienced growth as an OEM integrator with in-house capabilities to configure, manufacture, and service complete end-of-line packaging solutions.

ARPAC's customers include producers of foods, beverages, building supplies, automotive products, printed publications, health & beauty, and a wide variety of packaged goods. ARPAC’s product portfolio includes shrink wrappers, shrink bundlers, case/tray formers and packers, shrink tunnels, palletizers, and pallet stretch wrappers.
